Through the Window

Here’s a story for ya.  The story of this page’s inspiration.

Several years ago (somewhere around 2017-ish, I think), I was watching Kelly play Yoshi’s Island, while she also provided humorous commentary as Chessie.  She was struggling a little with the game and was getting frustrated with it.

Now, Kelly has some gamer rage.  I once had to check that everything was okay because I’d heard her yelling at Skyward Sword from another room.  She also has a tendency to not switch back to her regular voice right away when she’s been doing character voices for a bit.  So all of her frustrations at Yoshi’s Island came out in Chessie’s voice.

I’ve heard that squirrel say things.  Things that will never make it into this comic without an immediate change from a G rating to an R.
