Filler #15: Max (Intermission 6)
Cuteus Maximus aka Maximus Trouble. He’s a derpy puppers, but I still love him. Hard to believe he’s going to be five soon…
Something else that I forgot to mention is that, recently, Max had been diagnosed with Cushing’s Disease. For those who don’t know, it’s a disease that causes the adrenal glands to overproduce something called cortisol. It causes him drink lots of water, makes him need to pee a lot, and made him swell up like a balloon so now he’s almost double in body weight. He’s mostly stable now, but I was really worried that I was going to lose him for a while.
